Territory Tourism Voucher Round 3
|
Once again Territorians have snapped up the Territory Tourism Voucher with 10,000 people registering for the third round within five minutes of the registrations opening last night and by 6am this morning, more than 33,000 had registered. The vouchers are released on a first-come, first served basis with more vouchers to be released in a staggered approach. Valued up to $200 the vouchers are redeemable on a $1 for $1 basis and can be used on multiple tourism experiences in the Top End, Red Centre, Katherine and Barkly regions. To encourage bookings in all of our regions Territorians who travel further afield will be able to apply for an additional $200 bonus claim redeemable on a $1 for $1 basis for travel over 400 kms to the product booked as part of a single journey.

Digital Marketing Workshops

The $5 million Small Business Customer Experience (CX) Grant is a one-off grant for small businesses looking to enhance their customer experience in the Territory for locals and visitors alike. Smarter Business Solutions Program
The Smarter Business Solutions program provides tailored assistance and advice to reduce your business costs by adopting efficient, innovative and proven energy, waste and water technologies and practices. The program offers different types of support including:
• advice on current efficient technologies and practices
• a walk-through site survey to identify potential savings opportunities
• grants to encourage and support cost savings or initiatives:
o up to 50% of the cost for efficiency improvements - maximum of $20,000
o up to 20% for the installation of off-grid renewable energy systems - maximum of $20,000o up to 10% for the installation of on-grid renewable energy systems - maximum of $10,000.*

COVID-19 Consumer Travel Support
Travel agents and tour arrangement service providers who lost income due to COVID-19 can apply for a one-off grant of $1,500 to $100,000 depending on your business’ annual GST turnover in the 2019 calendar year. Applications close 13 March 2021 or until program funds have been fully expended.

The Australian Government’s Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) Infrastructure Projects Stream round five is open now. Offering grants of $20,000 to $10 million to cover 50% or more of eligible projects for investment ready projects, round five incorporates $100 million towards tourism-related infrastructure projects.
