Aboriginal Tourism Product Distribution Grant Program

Tourism NT is providing a non-competitive funding pool of $50,000 (excluding GST) for online booking systems and for expert distribution advice including pricing structures and rate sheets. A minimum of $2,000 up to a maximum $5,000 (excluding GST) is available to eligible applicants.

Aboriginal Tourism Grant Program Round 9

Tourism NT is providing a non-competitive funding pool of $500,000 (excluding GST) to develop Aboriginal cultural tourism experiences and tourism product that encourages visitors to travel to the NT and stay longer. A minimum of $30,000 up to a maximum $100,000 (excluding GST) is available to eligible applicants.

Unlocking Aboriginal Tourism Development Funding Round 4

Tourism NT is providing a non-competitive funding pool of $13,500 (excluding GST) in consultancy services to NT Aboriginal Territorians and majority owned Aboriginal businesses and organisations to help access opportunities and unlock potential Aboriginal tourism development funding.

Destination NT - Aboriginal Tourism Forum

Get ready for a refreshed program of industry and public facing events to support, inspire, connect businesses, government and key community stakeholders and celebrate the NT’s drivers of visitation. Destination NT runs from 4-8 November 2025. The Aboriginal Tourism Forum is a key event and will be held on 6 November 2025 in Darwin.

Bush Bands Bash

Bush Bands Bash will be held on 14 September 2025 at the Alice Springs Telegraph Station Historical Reserve. This is not just a music festival; it is a celebration of Aboriginal culture and a platform for these talented bands and artists to share their art with a wider audience.

Desert Mob

From 11 September to 26 October 2025, Desart will deliver Desert Mob bringing together hundreds of artists to celebrate desert culture in the heart of Australia. This is one of the nation's oldest Aboriginal art festivals, which features an exhibition, marketplace, artist talks and satellite events throughout Mparntwe (Alice Springs).

East Arnhem Live

On 30 August 2025, East Arnhem Live a free community music festival will be held in Nhulunbuy. East Arnhem Live brings incredible musicians from across Arnhem Land together with headline acts from further afar to create an event truly special that you won't find anywhere else.

Kwarta Tuma Festival

From 12 to 14 September 2025, the Kwartatuma Festival celebrating culture, environment and music 'on country' at Kwartatuma (Ormiston Gorge). The much anticipated annual 'A cappella in the Gorge' will headline this new and exciting festival, staged in one of the most iconic Central Australian locations of outstanding beauty and cultural significance on Western Arrernte country.

Milikapiti Festival - Tiwi Islands

On 6 and 7 September 2025, the inaugural Milikapiti Festival will be held. It will be a celebration of Tiwi culture, community and connection on beautiful Melville Island - Yermalner.This family-friendly cultural event invites visitors to engage in intergenerational learning and traditional Tiwi practices, guided by local Elders and younger generations.
