Accelerating new Aboriginal tourism product and experiences

Last week we celebrated the completion of our first Tourism NT and Indigenous Business Australia, Aboriginal Tourism Accelerator Program (ATAP). Over 6 months, 7 participants developed leadership, innovative ideas, and practical skills to strengthen our Aboriginal tourism industry in the NT. From immersive cultural tours to strategic partnerships and niche fishing charters, these unique tourism ideas are set to thrive across the NT.
Participants and guests started the day with a very special saltwater Welcome to Country at the Darwin Waterfront Lagoon before learning about each others business ideas at the ATAP showcase.
Congratulations to everyone involved. We look forward to seeing your new products and experiences in market soon!

We want to make travel to the Territory even more affordable, allowing more people to experience the stunning landscapes and rich culture of our regions.
Stay tuned for further updates on the TAAS soon.
