Save & Learn in the NT

Interstate schools can apply for funding support to bring their students to the NT with the NT Learning Adventures Save & Learn program, which aims to attract more school tours to the Territory. School group tours departing from 1 July 2021 that complete travel by 31 May 2022 can apply for a $1,000 (gst inclusive) rebate, per school group. For more details on the program click here

NT Learning Adventure operators and partners are encouraged to join Tourism NT in promoting the program, with a poster and image available.

Nominate for the 2021 Brolga Awards to win
Northern Territory tourism operators that nominate to enter the 2021 Brolga Awards, in any category, by Friday 13 August 2021 will go into the draw to win a table of 10 tickets to the gala event. Tourism NT also offers a free assistance program to help prepare your submission. All entries for the 2021 Brolga Awards close 12 noon, 7 September 2021.

Free RSA refresher course

More than 1200 hospitality workers have now completed the new Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) refresher course. The course covers Territory specific case studies and regulations and on completion you will receive a certificate of completion that is valid for 3 years.

Red CentreNATS revving up

This year’s Ultimate Festival of Wheels looks set to be a roaring success with more than 650 entrants already signed up five weeks out from the event. A large proportion of Red CentreNATS entrants come from interstate, and bring family and friends with them, which means a tourism boom for the region.

The Northern Territory Major Events Company is accepting applications for its latest Event Funding round, which includes two new categories, Mass Participation Event and Major Event. The Event Development and Community Event categories also return. Applications close on 9 August 2021.
