Quarterly newsletter - May 2025 | Tourism NT - Domestic Trade opportunities

Welcome to our Quarterly Trade Newsletter!

As we wrap up the financial year, we’re busy planning for FY25/26 with plenty of exciting opportunities ahead to learn more about the Northern Territory, connect with NT operators, and experience the Territory first-hand. Stay tuned for new webinar sessions in our Trade Training and Aboriginal Tourism Product Awareness Program, along with fresh training tools and ideas.

This quarter’s webinar focuses on sustainable tourism in the NT, with a spotlight on the Top End where sustainability isn’t just a buzzword, but a way of life. We’ll be joined by two standout operators: Ethical Adventures, known for its immersive, low-impact tours that prioritise environmental education and local community connections; and Bamurru Plains, a remote wilderness lodge combining luxury with conservation, operating largely off-grid and actively protecting the habitat of the Mary River floodplains.

We hope to see you online next week for our Q4 TTP webinar!

New dates for both ATPAP and TTP webinar sessions will be announced in June. We’re looking forward to an exciting FY25/26 and hope you’ll join us for more NT adventures - both online and in person.

NT Round Up 2025 - Red Centre

As part of our quarterly TTP webinars, we offered six spots to engaged members to join our NT Round Up trade event and famil. This year’s trip took place from 28 March to 2 April in the Red Centre. Twenty agents from Australia and New Zealand joined us for a week of immersive experiences, trade connections, and unforgettable moments. From industry networking and Outback Ballooning in Alice Springs to cultural insights at Karrke Aboriginal Cultural Experience near Kings Canyon and rare waterfall sightings at Kata Tjuta, the famil delivered strong product knowledge and plenty of fun. Despite a few weather challenges, we had an incredible group on board and the feedback was excellent across the board.
A big thank you to all of our fantastic NT Round Up 2025 participants!
